Windows 10 compatibility and SpeechExec software upgrades

 

Please note that only the latest Philips SpeechExec version 10.x runs on Microsoft Windows 10. Here is a quick overview of old and current software versions and their compatibility:

  • Version 5 (dongle) -> not compatible (software end of service September 2013)
  • Version 6 (dongle) -> not compatible (Software end of service, September 2013)
  • Version 7 -> not compatible (Software end of service, November 2015)
  • Version 8 - 8.7 -> not compatible (Software end of service, December 20xx)
  • Version 8.8 -> compatible with Windows 10(Software end of life, December 2017)
  • Version 10.x -> compatible with Windows 10
